Custom modifications:

I purchased this horn in 2004 According to the person I bought this horn from (the second owner) I am the third owner of this horn. This horn came with an era appropriate case (purple lined) that has since been discarded as it was well beyond repair. Jim Patterson did the following work to my 8D (05/2005): -Valve job -the bell was cut and a Conn-compatible ring set installed -the was lacquer stripped -an S. Lewis flipper was added to the horn I have noticed a few oddities on this horn so far: -the original owner had changed the 2nd valve slides to the later ones with the wide pull ring (possibly from an N-series?) -the lyre fixture has been removed, but you can see where it once was.
