also was co-owner of a hotel and restaurant in the Adirondack Mts.
Chuck and his second wife moved to Arizona where he owned a wallpaper and paint store. They later moved to Texas to be near his wife's parents. Chuck passed away on February 21, 2006 due to complications resulting from liver cancer. His ashes were spread over Point O'Woods Beach in South Lyme, CT where he had once owned several cottages and was the place he loved. Joy Cooper remembers one Saturday going to a football game with Chuck and several other classmates....afterwards, riding around in his car cheering wildly because CV won!! He was a fun-loving fellow with a great sense of humor. |
